Dustless Sanding
New for 2023 we’ve introduced dustless sanding which you may also see as dust-free sanding. This is a technique that reduces, or even removes entirely, the amount of dust generated during the preparation process. Here are a few of the benefits of dustless sanding:
- Improved air quality: Dustless sanding greatly reduces the amount of airborne dust particles, which can be harmful to breathe in. By minimising the amount of dust created during the sanding process we can help improve indoor air quality, particularly in homes or buildings with sensitive occupants such as those with respiratory conditions or allergies.
- Reduced clean-up time: With dustless sanding, there is little to no dust created, which means that clean-up time is greatly reduced. A huge benefit!
- Better visibility: Dustless sanding allows for better visibility of the work being done. Since there is little to no dust in the air, it is easier for us to see the surface being sanded which means we’re getting the job is done correctly.
- Improved safety: Dustless sanding reduces the risk of fire and explosion in homes and buildings. This is because dust particles from sanding can accumulate and become combustible, which can be a fire hazard.
- Efficient sanding: Since there is little to no dust in the air during dustless sanding, sanders can work more efficiently and with greater precision. This means we can improve the overall quality of your finished job.
